EFC is proud to announce that it has become an Educational Partner of The Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), a global non-profit association dedicated to educational advancement.
Previously EFC’s Paul and Alex have chaired CASE’s Advancement Operations conference in the UK and have spoken at CASE events in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
For 50 years CASE has been a world leader in providing support for educational institutions. That includes supporting alumni relations, communications, development, marketing and advancement services as well as championing education to positively transform lives and society.
By bringing together experienced colleagues from around the world to address issues in the education sector, CASE provides an important perspective on the challenges faced by schools, colleges and universities.
Talking about the partnership, Alex Hyde-Parker says, ‘CASE has been an integral part of my working life, training, development and network since I started in fundraising in 2008 at the University of Edinburgh. Within a few months of working at the university I attended my first CASE Europe Annual conference in Brighton. CASE conferences are where you learn, exchange ideas, meet your peers and make friends.
‘As EFC has transitioned from being practitioners in institutions to consultants working with a range of organisations it’s great for our relationship with CASE to move with us and continue to be the sector support that it has always been. We’re looking forward to this new chapter in our relationship.’
EFC will attend CASE’s Advancement Operations Conference in Leeds next year as well as Regular Giving and Legacies and the Case Europe Annual Conference, being held in Birmingham in November 2025.
